KATHERINE E. MOTT
Katherine “Katie” (Drury) Mott is a Boyne City native and alumni of the University of Michigan and Thomas M. Cooley Law School. In August 2021, Ms. Mott joined the firm concentrating her practice in civil litigation, probate litigation, estate planning, business transactions and real estate.
Ms. Mott also practiced in Petoskey for over five years and was in the litigation department for Barnes Walker, Goethe, Hoonhout, Perron & Shea, PLLC in Bradenton, Florida for two years. Ms. Mott also worked as a Trial Court Staff Attorney with the Twelfth Judicial Circuit Court of Florida for Manatee, Sarasota and DeSoto counties.
Academically, Ms. Mott graduated from Thomas M. Cooley Law School in January 2010. She has been a member of the Florida Bar since April 2010, the Kentucky Bar since October 2012, and the Michigan Bar since August 2016. Ms. Mott earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Michigan in 1998. Katie graduated from Boyne City High School in 1994.
Together, Katie and her husband, Tom, enjoy traveling and spending time with family, along with their four sons.
